Current rates of population growth require the development new agricultural strategies to feed world human and livestock. The massive use chemicals causes serious damage environment, animal health. For this reason, endophytic fungi represents a biological alternative in increasing productivity sustainable way. This group microorganisms, which inhabit plant tissues organs without causing symptoms damage, includes great diversity filamentous yeasts that are capable productivity. Some mechanisms involved promoting by means include access nutrients (nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, zinc, iron, etc.), production hormones, ethylene amount reduction, or increase water acquisition rate. review tries compile all works carried out last decades on as promoters with potential agriculture.
